Goals

To secure theoretical and practical volunteer preparation in social, cultural and tourist programs.

In line with its goals, the School of Volunteers will:

- give volunteers knowledge in psychological-pedagogical, socio-medical and tourist questions necessary for program completion;

- promote professional growth and the acquisition of practical skills, habits and a volunteer experience;

- promote the development of quality leadership, creative capabilities and self-fulfilment, and establish volunteers as active members of the community;

- create and introduce learning – thematic plans and programs to prepare volunteers in prioritized directions;

- broaden a participant’s network and contacts, and lead an exchange of common interests.

Current problem solving: 

- a series of training sessions and seminars are being organized on a variety of topics for student youth;

- sport tourism activities and leisure organizations are being created specifically for people with special needs;

- information about volunteer work is being provided to tourist agencies as well as to other interested parties;

- information is being collected regarding the accessibility of tourist sites for people with special needs.
